Millennials are at ease with digital technology. That makes 18- to 34-year-olds less willing to compromise on the features they want, experts say.

“Millennials are the driving force of some of the technology shifting down into the entry end of the segments,” said Jeff Schuster, senior vice president for forecasting at LMC Automotive. “In the past, a lot of technology started in the premium brands and filtered down.”

According to Autotrader, 55 percent of millennial drivers expect to spend an additional $2,600 to get desired tech features. The most important features for millennials include navigation systems, satellite radio, Bluetooth, MP3 players and mobile integration.
